So this was my first visit to Makapu'u tide pools. I noticed that it's very windy out here, and there a lot of waved in the ocean. There are a lot of rocks, and there really isnt any stable ground to walk on, there are paths but they're all rocky. Also there isn't very much vegitation probably because living conditions are very hard, there isn't really any dirt either, pretty much just gravel. The most common vegitation you see are Ocean Naupaka and Seaweed. As far as wild life goes, there are really only tiny little fishes in the tide pools, some hermit crabs, and limpets. There are also some birds, but very few.
Assigned Journal:
-- Plants: The Naupaka flowers provide food for the insects and some birds who pick at the berries. They position them selves close to the ocean but mostly higher up on land and they grow where the sun shines a lot.
-- Fishes: The fishes and marine life there all get together pretty well in the tide pools I don't notice that much competition yet, but they love the seaweed
